October Half Term

Looking for somewhere to keep the kids or grandkids entertained this half term? 

October Half Term is full of spooky fun here at Hexham Community Centre, kicking off with Pumpkin Carving, Face Painting and an amazing Halloween Arty Party on Spook Night. Then for half term week we have the return of our Games and Craft room with lots of Halloween crafts to make. Our Pumpkin Trail around local shops and businesses will start on Spook Night and carry on through half term, all trail sheets returned by the end of Sunday 3 November will get a treat and be entered into a prize draw to win an art set.

Saturday 26 October, Spook Night

We will be back with Pumpkin Carving in our Norman Reed Hall at 11am and 12pm, let us deal with the mess and enjoy a fun filled 45 minute session with pumpkins galore, all the tools, games and treats.

Then from 3pm our Halloween Arty Party returns, offering a break from the bustle of the main event. Come in from the cold for a fun filled party with spooky crafts, party games and tons of treats! For those that require a calmer environment we will be hosting a Quiet Start with reduced numbers from 2pm.

Also from 3pm Magic Tree Face Painting will be in our Reception area. Charges apply.

 

Monday 28th to Thursday 31st October

Spooktacular Crafts and Games Room, 10am - 2pm

Our holiday games room is back with LEGO building challenges, make and take Halloween papercraft decorations and some spooky games. 

The Games Room is free, but donations are welcome. A cash tuck shop is available. Children must be accompanied by adults. No booking required
