Room hire in the heart of Hexham
If you are planning a celebration, event or need a space for a business meeting, we have a range of rooms available.
Our room rates our outlined below, please note we offer a 10% discount for charities and community organisations.
Norman Reed Hall
Recently refurbished, our largest hall is bright and airy, with tall windows and original wooden floor. The hall leads to its own kitchen and serving hatch. It has a flexible layout and can be arranged to suit your event.
Cost
£23 per hour for the 1st two hours
£15 per hour thereafter, until 10pm*
*After 10pm hourly rate returns to £23
Capacity
Up to 120 theatre style, 80 cabaret or seated style, 70 for a dance.

Stan Batey Hall
Located on the ground floor, The Stan Batey Hall is ideal for children’s parties, fitness or dance groups and small performances. Recently refurbished to an excellent standard, the space is warm and neutral. There is also dedicated kitchen area and hatch joining the hall. It has a flexible layout and can be arranged to suit your needs.

£21 per hour for the 1st two hours
£15 per hour thereafter, until 10pm*
*After 10pm hourly rate returns to £21
The Stan Batey Hall is the venue for our Children's Parties. Find out more on our page dedicated to Children's Parties
Capacity:
Up to 80 theatre style, 40 seated around tables, 25 for children’s parties.

The Workspace
Located in a quiet space on the second floor, The Workspace is ideal for presentations, training events, meetings, workshops or project work. It has a flexible layout and can be arranged to suit your needs.
Cost:
£15 per hour for the 1st two hours
£10 per hour thereafter, until 10pm*
*After 10pm hourly rate returns to £15
Capacity:
Up to 25 people for theatre style, 14 for boardroom setup or workshops.

The Occasional Office
Located in the Business Hub on the second floor, The Occasional Office is a private workspace ideal for working alone or up to 3 people, one-to-one counselling or tutoring, small meetings, interviews or project work. The office is furnished with two desks and a coffee table.
Cost:
£10 per hour
£15 for half a day
£25 full day
Capacity:
Up to 5 people for interviews/small meetings etc.
